Job summary

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company has a quality assurance plan in place and that Standard Operating Procedures are being followed. As part of this position, the Manager of Quality Assurance also reviews and approves validation testing documentation, and contributes to the development of SOPs and quality processes.

Job functions

• Ensure that compliance issues within the organization are appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.
• Identify potential areas of legal compliance vulnerability and risk, particularly as a result of new regulatory developments.
• Direct the activities and develop the effectiveness of the staff through hands-on leadership.
• Conduct and manage policies and procedures with respect to the company’s activities.
• Maintain and organize all working papers and any other documents to support audits.
• Review business processes and recommend changes to our internal policies and procedures in order to increase efficiency.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Strong management references required
• PC skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with using web applications

• Superior communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
