Title: Quality Assurance Lead
Location: Kansas City, Kansas

We are actively seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

As our Quality Assurance Lead, you’ll make an impact by:

• Maintaining procedures and documents for the Quality Control Department and participating in internal and third-party audits.
• Inspecting, testing, and approving incoming ingredients and finished goods.
• Reviewing daily production records.
• Participating in quality and food safety investigations related deviations and nonconformities with the goal of determining root cause and effective corrective action.
• Conducting monthly GMP internal audits.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus and understanding of quality control methodology and product quality.
• Familiarity with FSMA, HACCP, GFSI and regulatory compliance.
