Rule Steel is hiring for a Quality Assurance Position (QualityControl)

• Controls Shop Master Detail Drawings for the duration of a project.
• Works with designated Production Supervisor to assure understanding of all aspects of a project.
• Works with receiving supervisor to assure materials received meet the project standards.
• Verifies materials used in the project meet the designated standard as per the drawings and standards.
• Works together with Project Manager and Detailing Departments to assure products are functional without design defects, and meeting the customer’s requirements
• Oversees workmanship and trains or corrects employees in meeting acceptable quality standards.
• Certifies that quality testing procedures and equipment are effective in achieving desired quality standards.
• Performs quality verification in a timely manner to meet production deadlines and delivery schedules.
• Keeps supervisors apprised of any nonconformance to customer requirements or project standards and works together with supervisors to remedy these issues.
• As necessary will perform welding, layout, tool or other pre-employment testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

• CWI - Certified Welding Inspector (Required)
