We're currently looking for a dedicated QC Technicians to join our growing team!
Mid Shift: 11am-8pm
2nd Shift: 3pm-12pm
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing a variety of quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. The Quality Control Technician records statistical data; analyzes data and documents deviations from existing standards; recommends modifications to existing, or suggests new, standards, methods and procedures; provides leadership and technical support with an emphasis on consumer requirements, continuous product quality and productivity requirements.
Responsibilities:
Performs Quality Control Functions in both plant and lab environment Performs analytical tests from raw product to finish products for specification compliance. Takes action on noncompliance results and records all results on the designated audit form. Performs audits on all packaging lines and records all results on the designated audit form. Maintains daily retention sample procedure from raw material to finish goods Holds product not within specification by generating hold tags and to distribute to the proper personal. Assist in the disposition of Hold Product when needed. Maintain the QC Hold system on a daily basis Performs daily and period instrument calibration on equipment Approves and dispositions product as needed Provides technical assistance to production, supervisors and management as needed Maintains a "floor presence" as an auditor of quality throughout the plant Performs Sensory evaluation/cup testing of raw material sampling to finish product Assists other Supervisors/ Managers with projects as needed Demonstrates professionalism and dedication towards company Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Manager
Job Requirements:
2+ years of QC experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be bilingual (Spanish) Knowledge in HACCP, GMP, SQF and USDA regulations is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft office is a plus Good mathematical skills required Team oriented problem solver who takes ownership of their work Self-motivated individual Excellent verbal and written communication skills Safety conscious and excellent interpersonal skills High School diploma or GED

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
