Job description

Software QA Tester responsible of testing complex computer software for well-established Ocean Carrier. Ability to create detailed test plans from requirements, apply best software development practices, and develop good quality test cases is a must. Typical candidate will have a passion for learning new skills, and applying them into the work, good problem-solving skills.

The candidate must have the following skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related, or equivalent employment experience.
• Experience in testing windows applications, web applications and mobile applications.

• Good understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to get test cases identified as early as possible.
• SQL Server skills: Understanding SQL Server and SQL server programming such as stored procedure, user defined functions, views.

Optional Requirements:

• Experience with Git.
• Knowledge of shipping business.
• Experience with Azure DevOps in: Build Definitions, Release Definitions and Continuous Integration.
• Experience working with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and performance testing (JMeter) is a plus.
• Experience in QA script automation.

ANNUAL SALARY: $40,000 - $50,000
