Overview

Cirkul, a rapidly growing beverage technology company seeks a motivated QA Lead. Cirkul is an exciting, high growth product-focused company. This individual will provide hands-on quality measurements and leadership in a high volume manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead QA Technicians in daily activities, is a resource for their team.
• Perform document reviews of SOP's, batch records, test methods, and logbooks to ensure cGMP activities are completed and documented in accordance with approved, written procedures.
• Review raw materials, work orders, and perform verification activities.

• Approves / Releases Laboratory Data and Reports.

• Participate in investigations into minor major root cause, corrective or preventive actions and impact to product safety, identity, strength, quality or purity.

• Train new team members.

• Promptly report identified Food Safety and Quality issues, problems, deficiencies, errors, incidents, and/or opportunities to management and correct where possible
• Place materials on hold
• Work independently and make decisions based on available information to prevent the release of out of spec material.

• Follows work orders, and quality control procedures. Strong attention to detail.
• Performs quality control in process checks, enters data & results accurately.
• Performs pre-operational checks, including quality of materials. Communicates and assists in managing exceptions.
• Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Aware and accountable for maintaining and documenting all potential quality related issues to ensure food safety and quality.
• Responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to management.
• Responsible for partnering with others, sharing knowledge, skills and information within assigned team and across functional areas.

Qualifications:

• Specific in-depth knowledge of complex packaging equipment.
• Extremely detail oriented with the ability to enter data accurately.
• Ability to follow directions, as well as, train and coach other team members.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to do simple math.
