Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on quality assurance Senior Lead Automation professional with 8-10 years of software testing experience.
Extensive experience in analysis, design, testing (automated), implementing and maintaining client/server and web-based applications in Financial, Trading and Banking Domain Applications on Windows, Pragmatic and competent Software Quality Management Professional with strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, management/business skills, coupled with many years of technical expertise.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in analysis and design of automation testing including the development of frameworks supporting client/server and web-based applications in Financial, Trading, and Banking Domain Applications.
- Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, management/business skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium, UFT and VB scripting a must and/or 5+ years of Selenium experience required.
- Experienced in SmartBear Test Complete , TOSCA and mainframe automation will be added advantage.
- Working experience to develop automation framework from scratch and strong hold on UFT VB coding for automating Web, windows applications. Including but not limited to handling of complex object handling on application, writing Complex SQL queries, using of classes, dictionary object, arrays etc.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries is a must. Strong understanding of Database interaction using automation tool from MS SQL server/Oracle/mainframe db2 is required
- 1-4+ Years of Experience Leading onshore/Offshore Teams.
- Having a very good understanding of Web Services and working with XML files using Selenium/UFT/SOA Test Tool/any other automation tool preferred.
- Proficient in creating excel macros/working with Excel using UFT
- Working Experience in Agile and BDD Framework would be a big plus.
- Working experience of Test Management Tool like ALM, QTEST
- Ability to work concurrently on several items, quickly adapting to changing priorities of the team, proactive approach and taking ownership of task.
- Experience in testing complex, multi-tiered web-based systems and complex data-driven applications.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology, DevOps, Continuous Build.
- Experienced in forming Agile automation teams, forming strategies to target in sprint automation, delegating work and managing resources to support functional Agile teams.
- Hands on experience in Selenium, UFT and VB scripting . Selenium experience will be the primary Tool and the candidate should well versed to lead and develop using Selenium.
- Experienced in SmartBear Test Complete , TOSCA and mainframe automation.
