Our client, UnityLab ('Unity') is searching for a Purchasing Agent for their Dushore, PA location.
Unity specializes in manufacturing commercial appliances that work hard for small businesses and organizations. We put all our passion and design expertise into every product that carries our brand and are deeply committed to helping our customers use our products to their fullest potential.
The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for the following:
? Purchasing goods and services according to the company’s policies and procedures
? Reviewing requisitions to determine the best deal for the company
? Meeting with various vendors to obtain information about products and services like prices, availability and delivery schedules
? Using knowledge of the market to determine whether or not a product or service is a good value for the company
? Preparing requests for proposals, bid requests and purchase orders
? Coordinating with managers to maintain inventory levels
? Ensuring that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions
Required Experience:
Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of purchasing experience in addition to the following:
? A Bachelor’s degree in related field - highly preferred.
? Is highly organized and detailed oriented
? Has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
? Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
