Impact Networking is hiring a Purchasing Administrator to join our fast-paced, dynamic administrative team!
The primary responsibility of the Purchasing Administrator will be reviewing and authorizing purchases for digital equipment and enterprise software by analyzing vendor prices, resolving price and item discrepancies and overseeing order fulfillment. This person will need to have both strong organizational and communication skills with a desire to work for a fast-paced collaborative organization.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies- Review prior transactions and current inventory levels to determine products required to meet demand.
- Monitor daily order reports including order stages and credit hold reports
- Expedite delivery of orders by negotiating payment methods with vendors. Respond to and resolve issues identified by the AP group
- Build positive relationships with vendors to secure cost reductions and early release of products
- Maintain pricing and create new products in both the ERP and CRM systems
- Process Return Authorizations for defective or incorrect products
- Obtain ETAs and communicate with Sales and Logistics to ensure quick turnaround of solutions
- Request monthly credits from vendors for major account purchases
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or the equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve
- Interpersonal effectiveness
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experienced in documenting procedures and internal controls
- Self-directed and able to complete tasks with limited supervision
- Maintaining a positive attitude under high stress situations
