Ardmore Roderick is a full-service engineering firm providing infrastructure design, construction services and program management to a variety of agencies. Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Project Manager to assist in the development of contract work packages for various projects related to the Public Utilities Industry in Chicagoland Area.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• 7+ years related engineering experience with minimum 2+ years of project management experience (Power Distribution management experience is preferred).
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Other valued qualifications include:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Experience designing public utility (gas, electric, and water) facilities.
• Experience developing engineering/project cost estimates and schedules
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation or GIS platforms
• Experience managing engineering teams

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primary contact between client and project team
• Lead client & internal project meetings, and delivery of final project to client.
• Manage and schedule execution of projects.
• Monitor projects productivity, quality, and progress.
• Supervise project team ranging from 1-2 junior engineers
