TCI is expanding our team and looking for a PTO (Power Take-Off) Specialist to support the St. Louis Metro Area market! The PTO Specialist helps keep things going as our in-house expert on mobile hydraulic systems to provide technical support and solutions for our customers and service technicians. He or she is responsible for designing and troubleshooting all aspects of PTO systems, hydraulics, valves, and components.
This role is a Corporate position that can be based in any of our St. Louis Metro area locations including St. Louis or Foristell, MO or Troy, IL.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support and PTO repair or service options to customers with a positive, solutions-focused outlook via phone or email communication.
- Record customer information, secure necessary parts, and prepare estimates for jobs.
- Receive inbound orders and pull part orders and monitor throughout the delivery process.
- Monitor PTO parts inventory and return obsolete, damaged, or incorrect parts to vendors, including following through with applicable credits or warranties. Notifies management of any issues.
- Promptly assist team members and customers on correctly identifying parts and accessories for hydraulic application of individual customer vehicles.
- Collaborate with vendors to achieve competitive pricing, unique quotes, and information updates in their dealer management system.
- Promote PTO sales within AOR in conjunction with corporate parts team, OPS, and parts sales.
- Safely and responsibly utilize equipment and resources in accordance with applicable laws, environmental and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in heavy-duty truck parts or service
- Valid Driver's License with ability to meet insurance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain physical and emotional stamina to safely manage a fast-paced work environment with changing workloads and priorities
- Resourceful, collaborative team player with the ability to also self-manage time and thrive independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and specialized equipment preferred
