Loving fathers near Columbus Circle, NYC, seek an experienced and engaging Nanny/Manny for their son, age 4.5.

The general schedule is 11am/12pm to 6/7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

The family can guarantee 40 hours a week for a candidate seeking FT hours with the addition of a regular date night during the week. Additional hours can be offered on weekends.

The position starts right away.

The ideal candidate will be active and energetic, compassionate and loving, neat and tidy, and enjoy engaging the child with indoor and outdoor play, sports, creative activities, and sourcing fun things to do.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities.

• School pick up.

• Take the child to classes, activities, the park, and arrange playdates.

• Child’s laundry.

• Meal preparation for the child; dinner, lunch, and snacks.

• Keeping the child’s room and the main spaces clean and tidy.

• Errands relating to the child.

• Keeping the child’s clothes, toys, and equipment clean and organized.

• Maintaining daily communication with the parents.

• Bedtime routine and reading to the child.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant nanny experience.

• Active and energetic.

• Punctual and reliable.

• Proactive and self-starter.

• Patient, firm, and understanding.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Legally permitted to work in the U.S.

• Clean background check.

• 2-3 valid references.

• Openness to different cultures and types of people.

• Covid Vaccinated and boosted.

• Must be dog friendly; the family has a Lab.

There is some occasional travel several weeks out of the year which it would be ideal if the nanny/manny could join.

Salary: $30.00 - 40.00 per hour.

Benefits: PTO depending on the agreed-upon schedule (PT or FT).
