Job description
Union County is currently accepting applications for a part time LPN for our jail. This position would work approximately 15 hours a week. The LPN provides nursing skills in the unique environment of a correctional facility. This position is responsible for providing medical care to inmates and treats a wide variety of medical conditions; works under minimal supervision and must have a high level of competence; complies with Prison policies and maintains awareness and compliance at all times with Prison security measures.
The LPN works under the supervision of the Prison physician.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Licensed LPN with 2 years clinical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check per County policy.
