We’re hiring a self-motivated On-site Project Supervisor with experience handling multiple subcontractors. The successful candidate will work directly with clients and subcontractors to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, specification, schedule, and budget on a government construction project. The Project Supervisor's responsibilities include:

• Coordination of project documents from inception to completion, including all drawings, specifications, contracts, and letters.
• Completing daily reports and other project related paperwork
• Work as on-site superintendent and quality control manager for all construction-related activities
• OSHA 30 hrs.
• Review subcontractor reports.
• Coordination of all site visits and team coordination to complete the projects.
• Manage team resources in regard to field work, desk work and meetings.
• Prepare weekly review for management in regard to all the projects in process.
• Creating a timeline for each work element and analyzing the necessary course.
• Manage and ensured client satisfaction.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
• Use and continually develop leadership skills.

Skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience in construction project management or superintendence.
• Familiarity with time management tools.
• Experience with process improvement.
• Advanced time management and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.

Qualifications for the Project Supervisor position include the ability to understand construction contracts, plans, and specifications, and knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in construction management or Engineering from an accredited institution is a plus.

The ability to coordinate several major activities at once, while analyzing and resolving specific problems, is essential, as is an understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction fields. Good oral and written communication skills are critical.

The ideal candidate will be capable of exercising leadership, while also possessing the ability to work as a member of a dedicated team. The ability to establish good working relationships with all members of the project team, including owners, project managers, architects, supervisors, and administrative staff, is a must.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Verifiable experience in construction supervision and quality

· Working knowledge of software programs for project communication/job costing/estimating/scheduling, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· A background check will be required

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 /hour dependent on qualifications and experience.

Experience:

• Project Supervisor: 2-5 years (Preferred)
• Project Management or Safety/Health Superintendent: 2-5 years (Required)
• Experience working on government facilities 2-5 Years (Preferred)
• Education:
• Bachelor's preferred but extensive related experience is acceptable for candidates
