Overview:

The Project Manager will hold a key role in business operations. Focus on strategy development and deployment, project management, process improvement, implementation for business initiatives and solution architecture. Will be pulling together core teams to inform and validate business process improvement and innovative initiatives. Engagement with colleagues at every level, analyzing organizational processes and practices, and then designing and implementing improvements that drive measurable results. Will also be the project lead in organizational change management and strategic communications and innovations.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage optimizing organizational development processes to increase funding revenue.

  • Manage project schedules and scope.

  • Assist in creating the project budget, oversee deliverables for quality and assist in staffing projects.

  • Identify and mitigate risk through status reporting and project updates to ensure project timeliness and quality.

  • Manage client, company and project team expectations for performance by measuring and communicating project metrics and making changes to the program as needed.

  • Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

  • Monitors progress and makes adjustments as needed as well as measures project performance to identify areas of improvement.

  • Serves as a member of the project committee, and reports results to Senior Leadership, following appropriate communication channels, and attends unit-based meetings to address project issues.

  • Will focus on strategy development and process improvement.

  • Strategic communications and organizational change management , design thinking and innovation.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, Project Management or related field

  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

  • Process Improvement skills

  • Good communication skills (both written and oral), problem-solving skills and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to multitask within several different projects simultaneously

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
