Position Summary
The Project Optimization Group (POG) is a newly formed team within the Evernorth Growth Office (ENGO). The ENGO POG Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for independent project management supporting ENGO initiatives that ensure buying journey optimization and enable revenue growth for Evernorth. The ideal candidate will have the ability to support projects across a variety of specialties, collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to define project scope, execute an agreed upon strategy, and deliver successful project outcomes. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, prioritize exploration and process improvement, and be able to navigate continuous change in an ambiguous environment. This new role will have the opportunity to support building the new team in a variety of capacities.

Essential Functions
Develop deep understanding of the Evernorth and ENGO strategy to direct and execute on initiatives in support of these strategies
Build strong, deep relationships both within sales enablement, sales operations and cross-functional partners across the enterprise
Showcase strong project management skills and the ability to effectively multitask
Utilize strong critical thinking skills to navigate challenges and uncertainty independently
Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the company
Adapt quickly to changing conditions while making significant progress, even when faced with uncertainty
Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills to support interactions with colleagues and leaders across the enterprise
Lead and execute process optimization initiatives as part of our department's strategic transformation
Support the development of POG operational assets and process improvement
Qualifications
Strategic thinker with a passion for learning and process improvement
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, successfully navigate ambiguity, and work independently with minimal guidance
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office platform
Excellent prioritization and time management skills
Ability to plan for and integrate multiple tasks concurrently
Experience in directing or working with multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to develop deep cross-functional relationships, both within day-to-day work activities and beyond directly-assigned tasks
Demonstrated ability to coordinate tools, resources, and people through to project completion
