Molex has an opening for a Project Manager that is experienced in Program Operations. The Project Manager – PMO Operations will be responsible for defining, deploying, and administering Program Operations functions, or pillars, across the portfolio. Administering these functions will require collaboration with the program and project managers in the portfolio, as well as with the Project Management Office (PMO) Center of Excellence to ensure alignment with enterprise PMO practices. Effective execution of these functions provides the information conduits that are used to serve the Program Governance Model, making the right information available in the right forum for the right people, in a timely manner to enable better decision-making.
This role is open to remote work here in the US, with a strong preference to work a hybrid scheduled out of our Lisle, Illinois, Rochester Hills, Michigan or Wichita, KS office.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Collaborate with the Program Director, Program Manager, and PMO Center of Excellence in the definition and roll-out of the Program Operations functions.
- Facilitate the definition, deployment, and administration of the Program Operations Pillars. Personally own activities for several pillars, while overseeing the same as delegated to team members.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance their productivity and impact through effective application of Program Operations.
- Ensure processes execute effectively; dashboards, agendas and governance forum sessions are readied and necessary communications are performed in a timely manner.
- In support of Program Leadership, advance the process and tools beyond time-consuming data collection activities to enable information analysis and recommendations that can be used by program leadership.
- Facilitate positive interactions with stakeholders.
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience managing technology programs.
- Demonstrated experience administering Program Operations functions with measurable improvement in Program Operations capability (I.e. Plan, Scope, Financial and Deliverable Management, Status Reporting, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience functioning within a PMO structure.
- Demonstrated experience with project management best practices and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Lean.
What Will Put You Ahead
- 5+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
- Degree in computer science, information technology engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar.
- Experience in the ServiceNow platform, specifically Strategic Portfolio Management (formerly IT Business Management).
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including product lifecycle management, manufacturing, supply chain, enterprise applications, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Project financial acumen and experience creating project business cases, budgets & forecasts, and reporting.
- Experience collaborating with global or distributed teams across multiple time zones.

The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. For this role, we anticipate paying $110,000 - $140,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
