Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Project Manager to join our clients team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of asphalt paving projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance
• Ensure that all projects are completed within the agreed-upon time frame and budget
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Oversee project personnel, including supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors
• Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients
• Conduct project closeout activities, including final inspections, quality control reviews, and financial reconciliation

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Asphalt Paving Project Manager or related role
• Extensive knowledge of asphalt paving construction processes, materials, and equipment
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Must be local to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and have a valid driver's license.
