Job Title: Project Manager - Estimator
Department: Project Management
Location: Office
Reports to: Director of Project Management
Exempt/Non: Exempt

Job Summary:
Primary Duties / Accountability:

1. Service multiple sales and house accounts as assigned

2. Estimate projects - analyze specifications, determine optimal production, prepare preliminary layouts, work direct with vendors for pricing, create quote letters, manage filing system

3. Routinely review job cost sheets and refer to them for estimating future orders

4. Enter sales orders; Develop Bill of Materials (job materials, operations / production data) using Syteline

5. Purchase print - coordinate approvals and timing

6. Effectively communicate complete and accurate details to individual departments

7. Oversee manufacturing process from concept to final output - expediting

8. Facilitate approval process for die, instruction sheets, cartons, labels and shipping

9. Receive, respond and solve internal and external inquiries and /or complaints

10. Interact as liaison between sales team, customer, design & manufacturing

11. Maintain production schedule for indvidual jobs

12. Works independently - regularly excercises judgment and discretion

Secondary Duties / Accountability:

1. Maintain highly organized, detailed records of specifications, estimate details and job information

2. Maintain a positive , cooperative, professional attitude toward customers, vendors and co-workers

3. Continually meet or exceed internal and external customer needs / expectations in quality and service

4. Maintain a good attendance record

5. Offer suggestions for problem solving, streamlining processes, etc

6. Offer assistance to less experienced employees on job duties / procedures as needs arise

7. Perform other related duties as requested by Supervisor or Management

Education and Experience Required:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Speak, read, write English

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent math skills

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent communication skills

Experience with Microsoft Office

Experience with Syteline a plus

Previous work experience in manufacturing of packaging and displays a plus.
