Project Manager

Position Summary

As the Project Manager, you will be a great team player and assemble and manage project teams and oversee the development of projects. You will apply project management methodology and tools, as well as negotiating talents to resolve problems and facilitate the achievement of outcomes. Under the guidance of a senior project manager, portfolio manager, or program manager, you will be responsible for coordinating projects or a phase of larger projects to ensure excellent business partner experience from a solutions, timing, and accuracy perspective. Your day to day will be to manage complex projects over the entire lifecycle and manage communication efforts across multiple teams and business units. You will define project tasks and activities and define moderately complex plans, potentially with inter-dependent activities and review status and progress independently. Capable of completing a qualitative/quantitative analysis of the current risks and develops solutions and/or mitigation plans with minimal supervision.

About The Team

Our Enterprise Technology Operations (ETO) Project Management Team focuses on technology projects related to our enterprise infrastructure. You will get an opportunity to work on multiple large projects that span across infrastructure, network, systems, disaster recovery and much more. You will get to work with Portfolio Managers, key business stakeholders, and skill resources to execute prioritized programs and projects to effectively implement key business strategies across the enterprise. We are a disciplined and often self-directed team, with a focus on professional development and continuous improvement.

Primary Qualifications

• Experience in project management and group facilitation.
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to independently work across teams collaboratively and effectively within time constraints and changing priorities.
• Initiative-taker with experience in successfully coordinating activities across multiple teams.
• 3-6 years’ experience of handling multi-dimensional technical projects to include project planning, delivery coordination and risk management.
• Ability to work with business and technology delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered with quality, on time and within budget.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and/or JIRA.
• Experience in both Plan Driven and Agile Methodologies (including Scrum and Kanban)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, technology professionals, and subject matter experts.
• Experience in Agile Methodologies preferred
• Active Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification, or a desire to sit for the certification
