Salary: $147,000 - $160,000, depending on experince

Agilian is seeking an Experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the modernization of an Unemployment Insurance Tax System. This team member will champion the user experience and serve as a friend to the government to ensure the modernization project is met on time, on scope, and at cost. The Project Manager should have experience delivering projects of the high level of quality acceptable for our client.

Responsibilities:

• Project management for Unemployment Insurance for Tax modernizations

• Will guide government client and their consultants on suggested changes on project modernization in-line with SI vendor

• Experience in Unemployment Insurance/Social services domain in tax areas and tax areas.

• Technical Training experience with working knowledge of MS Office and MS Visio.

• Knowledge of the current social, economic, and vocational problems related to employment services.

• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing activities and programs with a heavy emphasis on unemployment insurance programs.

• Knowledge of the principles, theories, techniques and trends of public administration including financial management, labor relations, and related governmental programs.

• Posses value based leadership with ability to respect differing backgrounds, interests and points of view.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 Years minimum om as Government Project Manager

• 4 Years minimum experience leading a complex modernization program

• 1+ Years experiences successfully leading a remote team

• 2+ years of project management experience working in an agile environment

• Must have current EMP certification or equivalent experience

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• Excellent client interfacing skills

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

• Strong consulting and communication skills

• Ability to undergo a background investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification

• SAFe Agile Framework Certification

• 2+ years' experience doing project management for a government agency

• 1+ years' experience working for an employment agency in the US

• 1+ years' experience offering the following commercial packages onsite sagitec gsi solutions

• UI Tax programs department of employment services

• Expertise with MS Visio, Lucid Charts, or similar process modeling tools

• Expertise with MS Office 365 Tools (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
