Acousti is looking for a Project Manager Assistant out of our Houston, Texas location.

The Assistant to the Project Manager assists in the preparation, reporting, and analysis of assigned business projects under the supervision of a Project Manager.

For this role, you will be responsible for:

• Setup, enter, and maintain all job and contract related items into Timberline until completion and close out of job.
• Send proper documentation of job and contract information to General Office.
• Make copies and file paperwork as needed.
• Keep in contact with Project Manager for any updates available.
• Call General Contractors with any questions or updates.
• Assist Project Manager with any clerical duties.
• Assist with preparing bids and contracts for possible jobs.
• Create Purchase Order and Material List for material needed for jobs.
• Assist the project managers with preparing bids, submittals, insurance and close out documents.

Position Qualifications:

• Working toward a degree in Construction Management or related.
• Desire to grow into Project Manager very desirable
• Professional demeanor, both in dress and in conversation.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Innate curiosity to learn more and dig deeper.
• Can-do attitude

Additional Qualifications that will make you successful in the role:

• Working knowledge of the construction industry
• Fluent in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Sage/Timberline software helpful.
• Experience with Quick Bid/On-Screen Take Off helpful.
• Prior experience in the construction/sub-contracting industry highly preferred.
