Spring River Mental Health & Wellness, Inc. is a Community Mental Health Center with offices in Riverton and Columbus, KS. This position provides support for direct service staff and programs within the Adult Services Department.

Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting for long periods of time. Occasional bending, stretching or lifting. May require contact with individuals with communicable diseases. Ability to prepare written reports and use telephone equipment. Requires computer keyboard/monitor work. Requires prolonged data entry and viewing monitor for extended periods.

Primary Office location: Riverton, KS

Primary Function: To provide programmatic/clerical support for direct service staff and services within the adult services department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

a) To work cohesively and provide clerical support for providers and programs within the adult services department.

b) Perform work duties in a pleasant and efficient manner.

c) Provide oversight and maintenance of the Patient Assistance Program which includes working with clients to gather and submit required documentation, ordering of medication and supplies, tracking and storage, etc.

d) Supporting the Adult Psychosocial Rehabilitation Group by managing support duties such as managing the call list, tracking of attendance, creation of monthly group calendar, and the order and pickup of weekly group supplies.

e) Scheduling of appointments for medication management, competency evaluations, parenting evaluations, and coordination of appointments as referred by outside referring providers.

f) Coordination with psychiatric RN for scheduling of new referrals for medication management services.

g) Management of attendance tracking and no show process for the adult outpatient and medication services for Columbus and Riverton office providers.

h) Assisting with medication clinics on an as needed basis which includes gathering of medication updates, preparing the schedule and submitting to APRN, and taking client vitals prior to appointment.

i) Provide support and assistance for clients receiving on-site tele-health services.

j) Ability to provide coverage at the front desk location.

k) Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with experience in filing, word processing, reception, telephone skills, and high attention to detail. Qualified applicant must be at least 21 years of age and successfully pass background checks to include an MVR check for insurability with our insurance company. This person must be highly reliable, willing to assist as department needs arise, and have the ability to work with clients, co-workers and the public in a friendly and supportive manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
