POSITION: Program Monitor (Charleroi, PA) Full -Time

The services to the Aging is a program which operates under Diversified Human Services. This program coordinates and monitors the provision of Senior Center community operations and activities. The services to the Aging coordinates and plans Senior Center activities, promotes efforts to increase membership and actively seeks volunteers to assist with many activities including the Home Delivered Meals Program.

A Program Monitor will develop and implement procedures for managing the flow of technical work through the office and assist with monitoring the home delivered meals program and volunteer activities. As a Program Monitor you will serve as the lead office person providing primary operations support for multiple components of the agency. The Program Monitor will monitor the health and wellbeing of home delivered meal consumers, maintain regular contact with consumers and other providers. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals whose main goal is to provide encouragement and support to the aging population.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of five years’ experience or the equivalent combination of experience and training, as determined by the agency, or three years’ experience as a Secretary 1.
• Knowledge of general office procedures, including interpersonal skills and telephone interaction.
• Demonstrated proficiency on a typewriter and/or computer keyboard.
• Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
• Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal health care program.
