Clinical Director
Location: Lake City, FL
Salary Range: $73,000 - $78,000 | Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a mental health field and three years of clinical/administrative experience; current Florida licensure as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT required.
Driver Requirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements. This position requires driving abilities to meetings/other Meridian locations/trainings and home visits as needed.
In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years. Drivers over 65 years old must provide a current doctor's note stating they have no driving limitations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Directs and supervises outpatient clinic operations in assigned counties.
- Supervises the activities of a staff of Program Managers and assigned clinical and support staff.
- Responsible to assure that the outpatient programs under his/her supervision meet and exceed all contract performance indicators and legal regulatory requirements, taking corrective action in those areas that are below the standard.
- Implements and monitors fidelity to appropriate evidence-based and best practices in the clinics.
- Develops and implements clinical pathways in outpatient mental health and substance abuse services, based on diagnosis and related social determinants.
- Works cooperatively with internal and external referral sources to facilitate access to services and support coordinated care.
- Oversees outpatient clinic performance on budgeted revenue, expenses, and productivity.
- Responsible for the development and/or maintenance of program-specific procedure manual(s), in conformance with Meridian policies and procedures.
- Assists Program Managers to monitor compliance with documentation standards via the compliance and peer review auditing process.
- Ensures that staff within the assigned clinics meet all training requirements in a timely manner.
- Works with the Chief Performance Officer and Vice President, and independently, to develop QI initiatives and to address and resolve client concerns/grievances.
- Collaborates with the Outpatient Practice Manager to implement workflow and process improvements in clinic operations related to access, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Assists the Vice President with strategic planning agency wide and within his/her own department, including developing and presenting ideas for new or enhanced services, grant applications, and interagency collaborations.
- Participates in the development/modification of Center-wide procedures and forms as requested.
- As time allows, assists with clinical supervision of license-seeking interns in the Center.
- Assists the Vice President with consultation, outreach, collaboration, and education to other community stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives.
