Program Coordinator supports the Program Director by assisting in developing, leading, auditing, promoting, and following through with programs for primarilyYouth, and some programs for Adults and Child Care. This position helps strengthen our community by displaying the Y's 4 core values at all times - Caring, Honesty, Respect, & Responsibility. This position is a part-time position with an average of 30 hrs per week. Most hours will be worked Mon-Fri, but must have open availability for special events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Youth sports and Child Care
• Experience in staff supervision, committees, and in providing leadership to groups
• Ability to recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and motivate staff
• Excellent communication skills. Detail-oriented with problem solving skills
• Experience setting and managing priorities
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for member service
• Acquire and maintain CPR & 1st Aid certifications

Duties:

• Assist with ensuring programs and services meet community needs
  
• Supervise and expand upon existing programs, establish new programs
• Ensure quality program delivery and effective use of resources including staff, volunteers, and equipment with established budget
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory safety standards
• Assist Director with holdings meetings
• Participate, support, and organize special events as needed
• Assist with completing regular, session-based evaluations and surveys of programs through our membership base and program participants
• Promote membership growth and retention
• Sales and marketing activities for programs
• Perform supervisory and administrative duties
