NORY is an enrichment education organization. We help children develop three core soft skills: resilience, inquisitiveness, and empathy. Currently, we service over 30 schools in Manhattan, and Brooklyn as well as summer camps with 1200 students.

We are looking to hire an experienced part-time professional office cleaner to join our team!

Job Description:

• Cleans, maintains, sterilizes/disinfects assigned areas i.e. sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning, mopping, deep cleaning, dispose of garbage.

We are looking for experienced cleaning individuals who:

• Have prior cleaning experience
• Have high cleaning standards and take pride in their cleaning ability
• Have exceptional organizational skills or inventory skills
• Capable of providing all cleaning supplies (although we have some on-site)
• Strong work ethic and the ability to be on-time consistently
• Weekend and evening availability is a plus

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of paid cleaning experience (commercial, janitorial preferred)
• Must have a working comprehension of technology (smartphone, GPS, email)
• Must be able to speak English
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing to authorize a background check
• Must follow all health and safety regulations
• Must be COVID-19 Vaccinated
• Must be available TWO DAYS A WEEK: Tuesdays and Fridays 4-6PM

*NORY is not a school. You will be working at the NORY Office located by the Penn Station.
