Quinn thinks the dog walkers and pet sitters at Just Around the Corner are the best ever. They provide exceptional care for a variety of pets in all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. Our clients range from Newfoundlands to bearded dragons, from Persians to parakeets. Working with Just Around the Corner gives you the opportunity to learn how to care for and love them all. What you get from us:
- Work with experienced dog walkers and pet sitters to learn each job
- On-going training including Pet First Aid at our expense
- Bonded and insured as a pet sitter through the company, including Workers' Compensation. This is a W2 position, not "gig work"
- Multiple staff back up in case of questions or issues while on the job
- Flexible scheduling - we will work with you to schedule around appointments and family needs
- Hourly pay rate, pay for travel time between visits, mileage reimbursement
- 100% of tips belong to you
- Annual bonus of 3% of your yearly salary
What we need from you:
- Able to walk dogs of all sizes and strengths. Walking can be up to several miles per day, in 30 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute increments
- Reliable transportation to get from job to job
- Able to handle dog poop, kitty litter, rabbit hay and other materials that come with the job
- 3-5 full days per week. Can include split shifts with 7 AM visits, a break, midday visits, a break, and a visit at 8-9 PM. Time in between visits is your own, no "on call" requirement
- Minimum of 2 weekends per month OR one weekend day every week; more weekend availability is welcome
