JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and maintain food processing equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
• Report unusual problems or conditions to the supervisor
• Make a strong effort to achieve or exceed expected production output
• Willingness to learn other areas of the plant and transition from one position to another based on the needs of the business
• Assist in all areas of production as needed

JOB SKILLS:

• Ability to work in a cold, wet, fresh meat packing environment with temperatures ranging from 35 – 40° F
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours with inconsistent ending times due to business needs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

High school diploma or GED
1+ year of manufacturing experience a plus

• Ability to frequently move objects weighing up to 40-75 pounds and to work in very hot or very cold conditions
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

JOB DETAILS:
This role is a regular employee, full-time hourly position that is normally scheduled: 1st Shift:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm or until orders are completed

2nd Shift:

• Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm – 12:30 am

Overtime work may be required based on the needs of the business.
Overtime pay is 1.5 x the base rate for all hours worked over 40 within a work week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.50 per hour
