What You'll Do

• Hands on production operator in manufacturing environment
• Become proficient with measuring equipment and techniques and properly use these to assist in building, changing and maintaining stands, guide boxes and loopers and to maintain proper Rolling Mill settings that ensure a quality product
• Become proficient in using all other equipment and tools (crane rigging and operations; torch, grinder, and other hand tools; to maintain effective Rolling Mill operations
• Develop a general knowledge with all Rolling Mill systems so as to recognize offset conditions and assist to implement corrective actions, changes or adjustments to maintain effective Rolling Mill operations
• Responsible for daily housekeeping duties including but not limited to immediate work area
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
• Must be able to work in a high heat environment

What You'll Need

• Experience working in an industrial/ production environment preferred
• Previous machine operator experience preferred
• Must be able to work a 12 hour shift, which includes overtime, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work Full time
• Ability to work in various types of weather conditions which include extreme heat and cold
• Dependability in attendance, work completion, and flexibility to meet business needs
• Must be able to learn quickly and multitask
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
