THE POSITION: Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for execution of the daily manufacturing plan. This includes meeting current production schedules and ensuring all products are produced to internal quality standards. You will be constantly challenged by a rapidly growing and evolving company to bring innovative and modern manufacturing techniques to an industry ripe with opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop meaningful partnerships with our internal departments and team members.

• Identify opportunities for improvements in manufacturing quality, optimization, and process standardization.

• Provide “management at a glance” shop floor lean tools.

• Drive the continuous improvement culture with a “Plan, Do, Check, Act” management style.

• Create a culture of empowerment and accountability.

• Work with management and our employees to leverage their experience and knowledge, and to drive process improvements.

• Develop defect analyses of both customer and installation team feedback; review, categorize, and investigate manufacturing defects to identify root causation.

• Drive continuous improvement, both internally across peer support departments and on the production floor, at each manufacturing location.

• Conduct audits withing the elements of Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost to ensure that implemented process improvements are successful and are implemented.

• Update and document construction procedures in accordance with manufacturing improvements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related industry manufacturing experience

• Craftsmanship background preferred

• Spanish Bilingual required

• Demonstrated experience in project management.

• Experience deriving and driving process improvement initiatives.

• Comfortable on the manufacturing floor working together with teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.

• Familiar with Six-Sigma, SPC and/or Lean methodologies (certification in either is a plus).

• Self-motivated; can identify and drive improvements independently.

• Experience developing employees and a team-based work environment.
