We are looking for individuals to join our TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) production team in Carlisle, PA for the duration of the 2023 Summer (May - August).

The primary function of this position is to perform necessary tasks to maintain the proper flow of material at the TPO, compounding, and blending lines. This position is responsible for operation of the compounding station, blending station, extruder, calendar, winder, and packaging to produce TPO sheeting products. We will train dependable individuals with a desire to work as a part of a team in a successful and growing manufacturing company.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Rotating shift: Biweekly rotation between 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm), Monday - Friday

- 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday nights, 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Overtime may be required

Job Responsibilities:

• Completing production and quality assurance (QA) paperwork
• Following the Total Product Maintenance program
• Maintaining 5S requirements
• Setting up equipment and producing product by following the processing specifications
• Calculating and reporting output
• Identifying product and tracking output using SFIS (Shop Floor Information System) equipment
• Completing maintenance work orders
• Verifying accuracy of productivity and quality assurance information generated during the shift, and pursuing corrections for inefficiencies

• Willingness to perform several jobs across different areas of the operation
• Willing and able to operate a forklift (we will train)
• Able to read and communicate with other employees
• Able to perform math calculations relating to output, sheet length, linear feet
• Able to lift or move 50 lbs
• Able to stand for 8 hours
• Requires standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing
• Able to pass 5-panel drug screen
• Able to pass pre-employment background screen that includes 7 year federal and county check.
