PRODUCTION LINE ASSOCIATE

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Production Manager and Production Line Operators, the Line Associate performs all functions on the production line, including filling product into containers, capping the container, applying labels, ensuring the lot code is applied properly, and packing out the finished product.

Job Description:

  • Works with a small team, including line operator, line quality control operator, and other line associates
  • Expected to excel at all roles on the production line, including filling, capping, labeling, and packing
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of their work area.
  • Identify and communicate improvement ideas and engage with the team to implement them.
  • Performs job functions with appropriate attire and personal protective equipment (PPE), as outlined in Good Manufacturing Standards for personal hygiene and health.
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct threat to the individual or others.

Education, Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Prefer High School diploma or GED.
  • Communicates well with others, including reading and writing.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and hard working.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Must be safety and quality conscious.
  • Must be self-sufficient and have the ability to complete tasks without supervision.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
