Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Production Coordinator is responsible for delivering quality results and excellent customer service while contributing to the production of print and digital advertisements and magazines while meeting time, cost, and quality goals. The Production Coordinator is responsible for primary review of ad instructions, acts as a facilitator of acceptable artwork, and legal oversight with relevance to copyright concerns. Working closely with Account Services Coordinators, the Production Coordinator collects and communicates production status, numbers, and projections to determine daily priorities.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Review incoming ad copy for clarity and completeness while inspecting digital assets for quality and legality; evaluate jobs for complexity and determine proper path. -45%
- Facilitate intake of ad copy by soliciting copy from sales. Enter job instructions from sales, as needed. -25%
- Collect and communicate production status, numbers, and projections to determine daily priorities. -5%
- Perform Account Services Coordinator duties on an as needed basis including, but not limited to, contacting customers for approvals and paginating magazines, to support the successful closing of magazines. -10%
- Ensure artwork matches what is ordered and expected to print. -10%
- Maintain current knowledge of products and Production systems in order to provide direction and support for customers and sales force, as needed. -5%
Education & Knowledge:
- Associates degree or higher preferred, or comparable experience
- Experience in print, advertising, or similar environment a plus
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office 365 helpful
- Ability to learn proprietary business systems
