The Production Coordinator is responsible for providing overall support to plant operations. He or She will be responsible for various assignments that will support different departments within the plant operations.
Major Tasks:
- Ordering all production and office supplies. Tracking receipts of these supplies.
- Organizes and files manufacturing Batch Slips, raw materials BOL’s and Packing slips.
- Enters dry raw material receiving in QAD and production supply receipts in Oracle
- Assist EHS manager in special projects and the ordering of safety supplies.
- Provide assisting in planning and coordinating site events.
- Assist Shipping Department with closing work orders.
PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SUPPLY CHAIN
- Involved in printing batch tickets and re-exploding orders when necessary.
- Checking label availability for the batches.
- Keeping track of all specials.
- Responsible for updating the daily metric numbers and posting at the kick off presentation.
- In addition, this role is responsible for completing OP16, SMED or Transactional lean projects.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
- Must have High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing, operations or distribution environment.
- Minimum of two years of clerical or administrative experience.
- Knowledge of MS Office Products and general computer proficiency.
