HIRING IMMEDIATELY- Production Controller

The Arc Ontario of Canandaigua, NY, a Human Services Agency, is seeking to hire per diem Production Controller to be responsible for direct supervision of program participants working at group placement sites. Provides training, positive role model and direction to insure assigned contracts are completed in a timely fashion with emphasis on quality control and safety. May include providing for the safe transportation of program participants to and from the various job sites.

Production Controller Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the supervision, training and direction of assigned program participants at group placement work sites.
• Serves as a positive role model for participants and interacts with participants and employers in a professional manner. Interacts with others in a way which shows appropriate work skills, behaviors, social interactions with coworkers, job training techniques and an observance of agency/program policies and procedures.
• Serves as a liaison between The Arc Ontario and the contractor to determine satisfaction, answer questions, address concerns, and scheduling of workers.
• Responsible for setting up assigned jobs, according to job and time study specifications. Identifies the need for fixtures or further breakdown of tasks to ensure quality controls and production rates are being achieved. Maintains inventory on parts and supplies, as required.
• Works with Employment Specialist offering feedback on performance of participants to include: job fit, training techniques used, skills to be developed, behavioral observations, attendance, time studies, etc.
• Maintains documentation related to time studies, participant's pay, and attendance. Reviews information with the Director, Social Enterprises on a routine basis.
• Works with the SEMP Manager to insure work site, and individuals assigned, are conducive to maintaining a safe, suitable work environment for participants. Makes certain protective oversight measures are followed if indicated.
• May be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of program participants assigned to the site. Maintains vehicle used in a clean, orderly fashion. Completes record keeping as defined by the Transportation Department, including but not limited to mileage sheets, gas logs, walk around sheets, etc.

Production Controller Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• One (1) year relevant work experience.
