Responsibilities:
The Product Specialist role at Hamilton Robotics is an opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on innovation and develops some of the best laboratory products in the world. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, passionate about learning, with a positive team-first attitude. A primary focus will be learning all about our products and becoming the subject matter expert on Hamilton's market-leading automated liquid handling platforms. The Product Specialist is also a key contributor on day-to-day product support tasks, product development, and product training for the Hamilton sales/service network.
  • Work with the Product Manager to identify new market opportunities, develop and launch new products, and manage the existing portfolio.
  • Be the point of contact for all product-related questions from internal and external sources.
  • Assisting the Product Management and Engineering teams in product development projects and launches.
  • Conduct sales and service training within the organization and associated channels/partners.
  • Attend internal and external training for product strategy and development.
  • Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the development and execution of product line business plans.
  • Work with the MarCom group to develop customer-facing product marketing materials.
  • Assist the Product Manager in achieving the revenue growth targets for the product portfolio.
Qualifications:
  • Able to learn the details of a technical product and present features and benefits to a multi-level audience.
  • Detail oriented with a high-energy and positive attitude.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentations skills.
Education/Experience:
  • B.S. in technical degree—Chemistry, Mechanical engineering or similar, MBA preferred
  • Experience in sales or customer service preferred, but not required
  • Experienced in Microsoft office suite—MS-D365 and Hubspot experience a plus
  • Experience with product management, product development, or the laboratory equipment industry is a plus
