Job Summary
The DC Service Center Product Specialist is a unique role and critical part of our organization's success. We are looking for a strong team player who has service excellence mind for our internal and external customers.
This individual will be closely interfacing with diverse cross functional teams (Management, Engineering, Marketing, Production) from both Americas and International teams. Due to the wide product portfolios, the Product Specialist will be exposed to many different types of projects which will enable gaining technical and service process of our company's organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Group Leader/Product Manager to increase value-add product sales by offering excellent services to the customers
- Assist the Group Leader/Product Manager to develop new manufacturing capabilities to expand value-add services and product portfolios.
- Project management of daily DC Service Center quotes and drawing requests by working Product Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Phoenix Contact Sales Subsidiaries Product Marketing teams.
- Demonstrate excellent project and time management in all Service Center activities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or a Business Administration degree in Marketing/Sales, or 3 years equivalent industry experiences.
- Project management experiences from engineering companies
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written) and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of problem solving by analyzing situation and providing recommended path forward

Must Be Able To
- Travel by air for trips up to 12 hours.
- Have a valid driver's license and be able to ride in a car for 4 hours at a time.
- Work at a desk with a computer for up to eight hours per day.
- Sit/and or stand for extended periods of time (2-4 hours at a time)
