Job description
Tyndale House is seeking a product and marketing manager to be part of the Tyndale Bible Team. The product and marketing manager will work closely with and assist the acquisitions director of Spanish and Portuguese Bibles, in conjunction with the Bible publisher to develop new product and achieve growth in sales and readership of the NTV and all Tyndale’s Spanish-language Bible brands. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team, use your organizational talents, and act as a liaison with team members in other departments.The main duties of this position will involve working with the in-house publishing process, assisting with acquisitions, collaborating in meeting deadlines, and supporting the acquisitions director and Bible publisher in developing concepts and new proposals for approval. This position will work with the acquisitions director and Bible marketing team to develop messaging for marketing efforts and packaging and will also collaborate with creative, production, and editorial teams to support Spanish Bible projects through the development and publication process.
Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in administration, marketing, communications, or a business-related field. Must be fluent in Spanish and possess excellent oral and written skills. Experience in consumer goods marketing and/or marketing communication with knowledge of advertising/promotion, public relations, marketing research, channel management, and e-marketing. Personal interest in and knowledge of the Bible. A background in publishing is strongly preferred. Ability to travel as needed. Acknowledgement of, and agreement with, THM Statement of Faith.
