Position, Location and Scope

Product Manager role will be a hybrid role with monthly travel to corporate headquarters outside Kansas City. Position will report to Vice President of Marketing and serve as the lead product manager, this role will encompass activities to drive our growth strategy encompassing both upstream and downstream marketing responsibilities.

Specific Responsibilities

· Product Strategy: Leads product strategy by developing business cases for recommendations on new products and services along with product line extensions outlining objectives, pricing, growth strategies and forecasting.

· Product Launch: Support the launch of new products and releases and manage the execution of the go-to-market plan.

· Positioning: Develop product positioning and messaging, working closely with clinical development team, that differentiates our products in the functional medicine market.

· Go-to-Market Strategy: Responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategy delivering unique value prop to customers to achieve competitive advantage.

· Medical Education: Supports the company’s medical education initiative by assisting in the preparation and running of workshops courses as a lead gen source (may include some weekend work or travel).

· Content Development: Create a variety of content types supporting all phases of the customer journey.

· Lead Gen/Sales Enablement: Develop the sales tools and collateral to support the sales process and generate leads.

· Market Intelligence: Research relevant market trends and be the expert on buyer personas including how they buy, their buying criteria and opportunities to offer new products and enter new markets; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them

· Project Management: Work cross - functionally to deliver content and assets that are cognizant of market trends, sales leadership feedback, and internal/external data in a timely manner.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements & Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus.

· 5+ years of professional experience, including three or more years of product manager and/or product marketing experience.

· Experience in the labs, healthcare, functional medicine, wellness market will make you stand out.

· You have excellent positioning, messaging, and writing skills and the ability to grasp and translate product features and technical capabilities into benefits.

· Strong presentation skills.
