STARK is seeking a Product Development Coordinator (Rugs). This hybrid position is a great opportunity for design industry enthusiasts to start up with one of the biggest names in the field. Incumbent is eligible for medical, dental, vision, FSA, TransitChek, 401K and PTO benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicating New Items across teams: Marketing Teams, Design Team, Ops Team
- Responsible to manage the upkeep of new items and ensure consistency via Dancik, Pricelists, Rug Search & Website
- Create purchase orders for new rug development
- Manage and follow up on purchases orders, update statuses
- Work with overseas mills on pending and new projects
- Create and update inventory items in the company internal system
- Create and update inventory SKUs within internal system
- Organize and create presentations for product review meetings
- Obtain reports to review sales history of specific product, as well as update purchase orders for ETAs
- Obtain spec sheets from mills and organize information
- Receive product in the New Jersey warehouse
- Request inventory tags
- Process invoices for payment through Docuware
- Coordinate photography (with overseas team or Calhoun, GA team)
- Communicate with various department team members on new items additional to inventory and to be purchased
- Create ASR (approved sample rug) transfers on all rugs once reviewed
- Work closely with marketing on new product launches (e-blasts, brochures etc)
- Assist with all new handmade product including spec sheets, photography, templates, shipments
- Manage and coordinate special projects such as rug shows, website launches, new tools, rug sales
- Transferring of inventory from one location to another, e.g., showroom, warehouse, department etc.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Detail Oriented
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize high level projects
- Strong analytical skills: ability to read, interpret and present information in a structured way
- Prior experience in related industry is a plus
- Degree preferred. Minimum one year of professional experience
- Flexible—this position is hybrid, time will be split between NYC office and NJ warehouse and home
