Looking for PT help Tuesday through Saturday 9:00a - 5:00p

I. Job Summary: The Golf Shop Merchandise Assistant assists everyone associated with the golf operation in the management of day-to-day golf operations. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to world class member and guest service. This position is tasked with providing a high level of member service regarding; counter assistance, tee times, check in and billing procedures, event registration, general club and operational information, answering telephones, opening/closing procedures, and general cleanliness of golf shop.

II. Job Tasks (Duties) Include but are not Limited to:

• Oversees golf merchandising concession to achieve its established mission within the golf operation
• Maintain an attractive and orderly appearance in and around the golf shop
• Maintains product documentation from purchase to sale, including orders, receiving records, invoices, vendor statements and special-order records to document merchandise history
• Assists with monthly physical inventory counts
• Monitors safeguarding of inventory and assets to reduce loss from theft, pilferage, defective/damaged goods, returns and markdowns
• Builds member database to track important dates, spending, sizes and preferences
• Performs other duties as directed by management

III. Qualifications

• Valid State issued Driver’s License
• Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines
• Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are at most 30 pounds
• Must be able to carry items up and down stairs
