Job description
Private estate seeking a part-time Chef Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
The meals would be more likely a light lunch or late afternoon snack and then dinner. We usually have the chef from 12pm-8pm.
This position will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to the couple and their guests. This includes shopping, meal preparation, service, clean up and the cleaning and organization of the chef’s kitchen.
Essential Functions:
1. Create a menu plan, and shop for the items needed, keeping costs aligned with a budget
2. Cook meals using organic products, low sodium and low sugar.
3. Prepare and serve meals for groups ranging from two persons to 20 persons
4. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen to meet restaurant food safety standards.
Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience as a Personal Chef in private residence or 5 years in a restaurant kitchen as a chef/cook
2. Experience with preparing different cuisines
3. Must be available to work weekends (typical schedule will be Thu/Fri/Sat)
4. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
5. Valid Driver License and pass background check.
6. Proof of authorization to work in the US
7. Fully Covid-19 vaccinated
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some culinary school
- Food Safety Certified

ATTIRE / UNIFORMS: No uniform on normal days but when entertaining guests, a chef’s jacket and black pants are required.
