GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role, you will be supporting the AXS - Auxiliary Svcs department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

  • Evaluates paper and online printing requests and assigns the requests to the specific digital production copying equipment best suited and cost efficient for the job. Supervises the use of the online request system and assists customers with instructions on how to best use the system.
  • Operates the line of duplicators that produce 5 million impressions annually. Works with faculty and staff on filling out printing requests.
  • Programs the copiers from a central work station to perform all production specifications.
  • Supervises the preventative maintenance on all equipment to assure high efficiency production. Works closely with repair technicians to learn equipment weakness.
  • Stocks and reorders supplies. Supervises the part time production employee and operates all other related equipment including a folding machine, paper cutter, paper drill, and shrink wrap machine. Make order and paper deliveries to all campus locations as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma and experience in the operation of printing and duplicating machines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
4 years printing operation experience, 2 years experience maintaining printing equipment, some experience with all printing equipment
