Job summary
Amazon Advertising, IMDb (AIGC) team is looking for a Principal HR leader who will drive programs to improve employee experience, inclusion, engagement and ultimately retention across the AIGC organization as we strive to be Earth’s Best Employer. The successful candidate will have a track record of working across HRBP, COE, and Business teams to build, operationalize, improve, and scale programs, products and processes. In addition to building new, this role will also focus on creating efficiencies with existing programs, leveraging data and insights for scale, and solving big problems. This role will lead internal communication of employee experience related programs, events and initiatives for audiences at all levels and geographies, and offers the opportunity to influence team strategy and execution in partnership with HR and business leadership. This role will outline the future vision of AIGC to become Earth’s Best Employer and help us establish longer term strategy for Employee Experience Partner team globally. This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and writing skills, ability to earn trust effectively, influence without authority, and possession of both change management and project management skills. While program management experience in the HR space is preferred, the ideal candidate have both a passion for, and a track record of driving process improvements, balancing competing priorities and thinking creatively to solve problems with innovative ideas.

Key job responsibilities
  • Create AIGC Employee Experience Strategy to continually improve our employee experience, delivering programs that support, engagement, recognition, development, and retention and foster a culture of inclusion.
  • Inspect key areas such as culture, employee experience, mental health, work life balance and design initiatives at the global scale
  • Partner with People eXperience & Technology and central teams to learn about cross-org and/or global initiatives/activities coming from these groups and build mechanisms.
  • Build strong relationships with AIGC leadership to develop a deep understanding of the business and increase awareness and understanding of employee experience, and drive the key pillars of the global strategy into relevant initiatives.
  • Analyzing employee engagement (Connections and tech survey) data, diving deep to identify trends, devising action items and tracking to completion.
  • Identifying and executing on opportunities to scale, simplify and increase effectiveness of existing employee experience and engagement initiatives
  • Driving 2-way employee communication strategies on issues related to employee experience, engagement and inclusion. Identify and execute on opportunities that support the voice of employees and create an environment where they feel heard and valued
  • Identifying pain points in the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle and work with stakeholders to eliminate them.

• Ability to analyze data, understand key metrics and use them to drive improvements • Project or Program management experience preferably in the Employee Experience space • Proven skills working with technology employees and working with global employee populations • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization and owning program strategy and end to end delivery The pay range for this position in Colorado is $149,800- $202,600 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
