Fusion Transport offer more than 40 years of industry leading experience providing customized supply chain solutions. We are a rapidly growing >$300M+ company with nationwide presence. We are an integrated third-party logistics company, with a brokerage division, an in-house long-haul fleet, several warehouses around the country, and a retail consolidation business. We currently operate under three levels of services which include Assets, Brokerage, and Warehousing.

Our freight brokerage business is growing rapidly (operating under the well-established Am Trans brand) and looking for experienced brokers to join our team. Our integrated 3PL business allows brokers to leverage other parts of the business as selling points in ways that traditional brokers can't, making it easier to build relationships and sell to clients.

Job Overview:

• Provide analytical support to Pricing Team identifying both historical and hypothetical company trends including the following:
• Use the Fusion costing model and various internal pricing reports for our Retail Consolidation, Warehousing, and Brokerage divisions
• Assure current pricing is keyed correctly into TMS and WMS
• Complete rate comparison projects (to other companies, customer rate conversions per request, etc.)
• Review rating accuracy depending on mode type
• Learn the Fusion Pricing philosophy and the skills required to price Consolidation, LTL, and TL freight and warehousing
• Gather customer information from the field necessary for accurate costing of freight
• Compile costing analysis for Pricing Activities
• Prepare RFPs, RFQs, and larger scale other pricing initiatives
• Complete miscellaneous analytical projects and responsibilities as assigned

You’re a Great Fit if You:

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Finance, Transportation, or Logistics; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and computational skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge and experience in MercuryGate is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to interact well with others
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
• Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Monday to Friday Work Schedule
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• freight (brokerage, dispatch, etc.) and load boards: 2 years (Required)
• utilizing DAT Freight Analytics: 2 years (Required)
