• Storm Search is supporting an immediate Direct Hire opportunity for a Press Operator for a growing, and well-known company in Georgetown, KY!

Shift/Hours:

• 1st shift - 5am-3:30pm (Rotating 10hr shifts)

Job Duties:

• You are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of converting machinery in accordance with detailed specifications as well as quality control
• This position is responsible for providing leadership and training to the machine crew
• Monitoring ink and glue quality to ensure products are up to spec
• Ensuring print cards are posted to the intranet properly and that print cards have the correct registration
• Working with your team to efficiently set-up the machine which includes hanging print dies, setting heads and scores, mounting cutting dies and/or setting the stacker or folding rails / under stacker
• Troubleshoot quality issues/monitor machine for maintenance issues
• Utilize TPS tools such as the Andon lights or Kanban cards

Qualifications:

• Must have some converting/corrugated carboard experience
• Must know how to read a tape measure
• Must have good analytical skills
• Basic computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
