Job description

Position Requirements

• Follow work instructions and defined procedures to ensure top quality electrostatic powder coating of a range metal products. Prepare products for optimal powder coating utilizing various tools and processes.

• Ensure coating specifications are met including thickness, uniformity of coverage, and finish quality.

• Maintain inspection of the product to ensure quality standards are met.

• Determine corrective measures and coating processes to improve and repair any coated products not meeting our strict quality standards.

• Safely and properly operate industrial powder-coating ovens following strict processing specifications.

• Follow established work instructions to assemble various products and components.

• Maintain spray guns, booths, and various tools in optimal working condition.

• Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner.

• Achieve a work pace consistent with established goals and product flow.

• Lift objects up to 55lbs, utilizing co-worker assistance where required by work instructions.

• Work in a safe manner following established safety procedures.

• Effectively communicate opportunities, problems, or concerns, assisting in solving issues and uncovering improvement opportunities.

Education and Experience

• Minimum High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2 years of experience with hand tools.

• A work experience record demonstrating reliable and safe service to previous employers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
