Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a master's degree or PhD in a field related to writing, such as English Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, Technical Writing, Communications, Linguistics, Rhetoric and Composition, Professional Writing, Screenwriting, or Editing and Publishing to join our team. The SME will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance, insights, and recommendations to our clients and team members on various writing-related topics, auditing tasks in our projects, and assisting with hiring interviews.The SME will be required to have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues across different time zones. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, analysis, and writing, as well as experience in teaching, training, or mentoring others in the field.Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level guidance, insights, and recommendations on various writing-related topics
- Conduct research and analysis to support recommendations and solutions
- Work collaboratively with customers and team members to identify needs, develop solutions, and measure results
- Audit tasks in projects to ensure high quality and adherence to standards
- Assist with hiring interviews to ensure that candidates have the necessary skills and expertise for the role
Requirements:
- Master's degree or PhD in a field related to writing, such as English Literature, Journalism, Creative Writing, Technical Writing, Communications, Linguistics, Rhetoric and Composition, Professional Writing, Screenwriting, or Editing and Publishing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Excellent research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring others in the field
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
