We are looking for a Post-Surgical Services Technician to join our team.
The Post-Surgical Service Technician acts as a service technician by delivering equipment ordered by physician and training patient in use; offers additional products as needed such as custom orthotics (ex. Ligament bracing). Communicates with patients providing them with co-insurance amounts and collects co-pays. Follows up with patients to ensure their satisfaction with the products and arranges pick-up for rental items. Works closely with the Post-Surgical Sales Manager to ensure customer satisfaction. The Post Surgical Service Tech may also be expected to perform the below:
  • Provides thorough instructions on how to use equipment to patient and family.
  • Picks up equipment in a timely manner.
  • Travels to patients’ homes, hospitals, nursing homes, PT/OT clinics.
  • Calls patients prior to surgery to describe products ordered for them; explain financial responsibilities.
  • Collects co-insurance payments from patients.

6am to 2pm; hours may vary; on call every 6-7 weeks, travel requried
